As a start up networking website, Wikio seems to be doing well. This looks like another social networking website with the updates, the videos, the signups, the search field and so on. The first version of Wikio looked much like Digg and an inspired one. Then they moved to mme tracking and also the collection of news. In the latest redesigned version of Wikio there are a lot of features. There is the section on Shopping and that works well. The items are again divided into various categories and you can link to related news. The looks for the video section is similar to that of Diggs and there is one difference only in the Techmeme style. The videos are good.

Reddit is a simple looking website and does not much look like the jazzy social networking websites of today. The website has a white background with a simple blue banner. It has a search and login field to the right, just in front of your eyes. You can also submit a link and create your own reddit.com website.

Design

Simplicity is the main feature of the success of Reddit with a minimal design structure that only Google can compete with. The Home page features a section with a list of twenty five stories. This is commented upon by the users. The posters are awarded points known as Karma points for the main and popular items that they post.
