The Wikipedia website has a plain design that mimics the simplicity of Google. The website can be viewed in many languages and that is apparent on the index page of the website.

Functionality

This is a collaborative encyclopedia website that contains millions of materials. These are kid-friendly entries mostly and very well researched. There are at times certain kid inappropriate ones. Often there are links which can take you to other websites. The 12 volumes of hard bound encyclopedia are collected into one URL and there is a plethora of information on history, arts, geography, and other comic strips, TV shows, toys and kid friendly topics. There are also adult pages and graphic images which is not appropriate for kids.
