Nikon – Leadership in Imaging and Optics

Nikon is a Japan based website. This company started in the year 1917. It belongs to the Mitsubishi Group of companies. Nikon mainly concentrates in imaging and optics. It produces products like binoculars, cameras, measurement instruments, microscopes and steppers that are utilized in photolithography.

Nikon deals in a huge variety of products, a few eminent ones are ‘Nikonos which are a range of cameras which can be used underwater, imaging lens called Nikkor, Nikon F - series 135 film SLR Cameras, Photographic Enlargers and Nikon D – series of Digital SLR Cameras’. It is the second biggest company in the world among the manufactures of Steppers. Nikon faces competition from Olympus, Canon, Fujifilm, Sony, Pentax, Kodak, Casio and Panasonic.
