Anabolic steroids are those substances that are being used by a lot of athletes all across the globe in order to assist them in building up lean muscle mass. These substances are so readily available that anyone can go and buy steroids. However, they possess some side effects that could be fatal and hence are becoming a widely spread threat to the body health. Such addictive properties of such substances clearly mean that there should be more legal controls to restrict people. At the time when the famous wrestler Chris Benoit killed his wife along with his son and then hanged himself to death, had 10 times more of testosterone in his system. This is also a kind of the anabolic steroids. However, there is a little relation between these drugs and mental health. The researchers have come up with the findings that high doses of these steroids would lead to a range of different symptoms including withdrawal. Hence it is important to have self control when you buy steroids and the consumption of such substances can lead to extremely violent or suicidal situations.

Steroids in Olympics

There have been innumerable rumours about the steroid bans, excessive steroids consumption at the time of the Olympics and it is obvious that the Beijing Olympics in 2008 was a no exception. Olympics have a huge history when it comes to steroid stories and out of all these stories the best was the one of Ben Johnson in the year 1988. Out of all the recent stories, Marion Jones case happened to be one of the most popular ones. It is always interesting to know about those athletes who buy steroids.

There were thousands of athletes from all across the globe that took part in the Beijing Olympics. Out of these athletes, many were banned for doping and steroid use.
