Apple Inc. Is a multinational corporation from California in the United States of America. It was earlier known as ‘Apple Computer Inc.’. It was started in the year 1976. The headquarters of Apple are located in ‘Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California, United States of America’. The official website of Apple is www.apple.com’. Apple has over 30,000 employees as of January 2009. Apple belongs to the industry of Consumer electronics, Computer Software and Computer Hardware.

Apple Inc. manufactures various products like iPod, iLife, Mac, iPhone, Apple TV, iWork, Mac OS X, Cinema Display, Mac OS X Server and AirPort. Among the various products Apple manufactures the most popular ones are the iPod, Macintosh computers and the iPhone. Among the others are Apple software like ‘Mac OS X Operating System’, iLife which is suite of Creativity and multimedia software, ‘Final cut studio’ which is a suite comprising of professional film industry and audio software products, iTunes which is media browser and iWork which is a suite of productivity software.

Apple runs over two hundred and fifty retail stores, all in about 9 countries. The products are sold in stores as well as online on the official website. The first ever personal computer made by Apple was in the year 1976. Apple also offers a variety of accessories for the computer like, ‘Apple Wireless Keyboard, Mighty Mouse, Time Capsule, Apple USB Modem and Cinema Display’. All these products and the accessories are available in stores as well as online.

The Apple iPod was launched in the year 2001. The iPod is a ‘digital music player’. This comes in a variety of sizes and colors. The Apple iPhone was introduced in the year 2007. This phone includes various features; a few are WI – fi, Dashboard applications, Bluetooth, and it supports GPS navigation and may more. The apple TV was launched in the year 2007. The online services offered by apple, hand in hand with MobileMe earlier known as Mac, are as follows: iSync, web pages, backup, iDisk, email, online tutorials and groups.
